I for one think it's pretty lame, I was just drumming to test a mic placement for drums and added a lame keyboard riff over it. I haven't recorded something serious in like two months, I should get crackin' no?

You Rock!
Try a short synth patch to make your note changes more obvious. The interval itself would fit with the drum line, but might be more suited to a bass. Then add another synth part expanding this on top of it.

Haha, dude, this keyboard is so chinsy. I'm just pretending it's a synth, it's this crap Yamaha keyboard that I'm borrowing from a friend of mine.
