almost done..

just need to add drum fills and some other goodies

Let me know if I went to panny in the mix.

Thanx

Everything sounds really good with the exception of the occasional swarm of bees (fret buzz). Not sure if it happened in the conversion to mp3 or not 'cause I can't tell.

Other than that, I wouldn't change a damn thing. Great recording/mixing job so far.

Very Nice

After the first couple measures I thought it was going to be a "muzak" cover but it grows on you. Very nice sounds on the guitars.

Thanks... the rythm guitars are panned right 25% with the lead coming right down the middle. Im remixing the lead track again and panning it hard left using an akg3000. Its sounding better.. I'll post as soon as Im done with the ending and drum fills. I always have a hard time programming the drums. They always sound fake. I hate that.

If you hate "fake" there's a Pat metheny "fake' running through this like a freight train! I don't find that annoying at all. But you can get rid of most of it by replacing [most of] the electric guitars with nicely miced acoustics WITH NO PROCESSOR crap after the fact, please. Thank You!!!

I thought the choice of this cover is the main limitation. You did a great job on it. Now choose something else! HAHAHA.

The drums need a lot more thought to get them sounding like a track worthy of backing up the rest of the work. If you can get in there and edit the MIDI with a CW like product, add a few hits on a tom or conga now and then in a reasonable (logical?) pattern to break up the repetitive nature of the track. It doesn't take many to individualize any track.

very nice arrangement. just spend some time on the drums, and you've got a keeper.
