I actually thought it was great, and I'm not being sarcastic, either. This to me is a competent mix, plain and simple - you took what you had and put it together in a way that totally works. Now maybe that says more about my skills s a listner/recording amateur than about your song, but if you hadn't mentioned that you recorded the guitar with a webcam, I don't think I would've even noticed it, it just gels so well with the backing track ... which is nothing but drums and the noise. In fact, I think the noise worked very much in your favour (now that's a first), because if filled a lot of frequency gaps that you would've had otherwise. The only thing that distracts from it is the distortion occurring every once in a while, but I suspect it wouldn't come through that badly on loudspeakers (I'm using headphones ATM).
I think you also did well in terms of the arrangement - it finishes just when it's on the verge of getting boring, and it totally begs for another listen. I mean I realise I may sound spectacularly overenthusiastic but the whole thing with its mood (the single most important component of any song AFAIC) just *works* for me.
