Hi folks, my live band has just released a new song called "Moonshine" which can be found at http://www.besonic.com/lugaburn.
I have produced this and am very proud of the production ;) Tell me what you think about (it really has been recorded at my living room....)

Great song. The production sounds radio ready to me. Very good work. The tune is nice and Jazzy/Funky, kinda alternative Sade sounding.

Radio material for sure. I wasn't crazy about the snare sound but that's just my opinion. The guitar sounds like it's where it should be...sounds good. I like the bass it sounds mixed in just right too, only thing that I'm hearing that might need attention is the "S" sounds I'm hearing in the vocals, more so in at about 3:18 when the guy comes in talking. May be the streaming I'm hearing but I dont think so. Really good tune though, and production wise I say on the money...great job
 
I love to hear that comment about the bass, 'cause I played it :D Yes, you're right the "S" (and also the "P"s) are always a problem here. Cheap mic, and strictly bedroom recording, but I try to smooth it down... Any hints how to do that?

Nice sounding track. Got kind of a Seal groove in places. Well mixed - especially considering there seems to be a lot of things going on. Liked the dynamics.
