The intro effects are cool, very much my kind of thing. The guitars are nicely recorded. Yeah, the whole thing works, electric guitars are nice too, especially around 1:55 and after, they play off each other nicely. As a mix it's good. Sounds kinda movie-esque....is there a synth on the outro?

Night in the Desert is good too...you have an interesting technique when it comes to extreme panning and overdubbing/harmonies. It certainly seems to work for you. Nice harmonics! I suppose you have to work very hard on the mixing and layering because your stuff is instrumental. One observation is that the solo acoustic, the little riff panned hard left, might need to come up just a fraction in volume. Like I said above, I really like this kind of music, so well done. Again, nice synth.

I got on to 'No words to pray'...to be honest, I wa skinda hoping this none would change just a bit...maybe a splash of reverb on the bongoes? The acoustic guitars are very nicely recorded. The electric seems kinda..far off? Les Paul right? Maybe give the treble a slight boost. I like the bass in it too, but maybe change it up a bit? Try some verb to make certain elements less dry. Just my two cents. Overall I really like all your stuff.

Wow...Thanks a lot Paul! "No Words" was one of the first ones I did a while ago so that's why it is a lil' bland. I am still always learning and perfecting stuff. Thanks alot for the kind words.

Cool intro effects.
The acoustics/electric seem a little dry - maybe I'm just used to more reverb lately... anyway recommend a bit more verb on these....
Great playing on the electrics. The notes are different but tend to compliment/blend together well.
No problems with the overall mix - I find everything is a good level and the panning is effective.....good one!

Yep, after listening to two of the songs, I was in need of a shot of verb or maybe even some delay, something to give it some depth. I love the panning too, he made very good use of it! I'll have to borrow that idea! :)

See it's weird sometimes...I often use to add a lot more reverb like you guys are saying but I always thought it got to muddy. So I keep it modest and it still sounds good on my studio monitors. It does sound a lil' dry on my computer speakers.

I also took into account the fact that I have 11 tacks packed to the gills with music that too much reverb would drown out shit and whatnot.

I'd pick one track and add some verb.

Nicely recorded......good tune, could stand a bit more verb on the guitars....Good job!!!

What does your vocal chain look like? Its got a nice vintage sound to it. What mic and preamp and everything, and if you dont mind whats your basic recording set up in general, im looking for something new.
Thanks
