i just love the rhythm it sounds more metal than punk, but it's really good. the vocals give it a more punk feel when they come in, and so does the lead guitar. really nicely done

It sounds like there is some progressive metal mixed into the track as well. But, I like the apparent combination of rock styles. The chorus does sound like the pop/punk thing. Overall, very clean sounding track. If I were to do anything different, I might just layer the chorus with something a little extra, like backing vox, or light strings.

bass is record line in not mic amp

I agree that it is not very pop/punk at all, but it sounds pretty good. It seems at times the cymbals are to much for me, like a high pitch screetch, but that is probably just the speakers im listening on.
