listen/critique my guitar

my guitar is an epiphone sheraton going to a peavey delta blues. (hollow body > tube amp)

i'm close micing with a cm50 (crappy dynamic.)

i'm stereo micing with 2 mxl991's.

i'm room micing the reflections off of a brick wall ~25 foot away with an mxl 990.

the rhythm guitar has more of the 990 in it than the lead. lead is slightly dirty.

i just sorta made up a progression and went with it. first time using my mics for my electric guitar. this uses my middle and neck. i think i need to eq it a bit to make it sound better. than cm50 just does cut it

yeah, that's what i thought. i'm going to totally cut the ldc, and bring back the stereo pair and try to find a good spot and mix of that.

still, i need to get a better close mic. the thing really sucks

and yeah. i'm recording in a basement with cement walls. its unfinished, soon this should be an acoustic friendly room. just moved here...recording is almost worthless...but i'm trying to make use of my time so i don't have to waste much later
