I bought the roland vs-1880 but i already own the tascam 424 mk111. my question can i link the two of the together so i can have 22 tracks instead of 18.

You can get a box, sync to midi converter and run sync trough it. The cass recorder will be the master. Unless it reads MTC the cass. I doubt it. You have 18 and 256 virtual tracks.... ain't that enough? I would use the 4 track for ideas and bring out the big ammo when I am ready for serious business.
