Link Arrangement?

I've taken the advice of several guys here, after becoming fed up with my computer, and have switched entirely to hardware.

The way I'm planning on linking all this stuff together is as follows.

Guitar, Mic, Drums, Keyboard, Bass,
Into the,
Mixer,
Then into the
Compressor,
Then into
Effects Processor,
Then into the
EQ,
Then into the Korg D1200 Recorder.

Anyone disagree or have comments or a better way, I'd like to hear 'em.
Thanks in advance.
 
I think EQ usually goes before the effects processor, otherwise you tend to unintentionally lose or accentuate the high frequency component of things like reverb etc.

Or something like that...
