Line6 direct into Omni Studio and back?

hi! i didn't know which category to post this one into but here it goes:

i have line6 duoverb modelling amp (think POD w/speakers). it has a stereo pair of XLR outs.

is there a way i can play/record it LIVE, and also have it send out a direct stereo signal into an Omni Studio?

also, can i have the omni studio play back the recorded signal back into the amp at a later time AND have it record at the same time?

how would i go about doing this? what connects to what?

i figure if someone can tell me how to do this, i can create a kick ass guitar mix all from a single track performed in real time(speaker mic + amp back mic + ambient mic(s) + a pure direct signal, just think of the possibilties!)

you can send a signal from one of the outputs of the omni into the fx loop In. I think you might not be able to have reverb though.
