Someone on this board once recommended a cool very low noise line level mixing board aimed at DAW users who want to mix analog with outboard gear. If I recall correctly, this mixer has now preamps, EQ, or anything, just faders and routing.

Anyone remember who makes this piece of equipment? I can't find the original post.

I have a neve 5402 that is line level only,, no EQ, two mic pre's, class A discrete goodness though.... Got it for about 3500.....

It is essentially the last 12 channels in my custom console.

Dont know if that helps you.

maybe you mean something like a midi controller , to controll all the faders of your DAW with real hardware faders?
or maybe something like a small protools setup, a little "mixer" with just faders and maybe some buttons to adjust the software eq's...
i'm not sure but maybe you should look after digital mixers, midi controllers,///instead of line mixers

my 2 cents

I think it was the Speck LiLo - at almost $9K, it's pretty damn expensive for 16 channels and no EQ or preamp.
