LINE IN recording in cubase..

okk im completely stumped...i kno im doing something very stupid..or im skippin something...but how do i record on cubase..from the line in...i connected my preamp to the line in on my computer...how do i set it to record from the line in input..and not the mic input...

alotta pre's dont really differentiate between the line in and the mic... so ya may not have to do anything at all.... if not try the devices tab in cubase... all your routeing is done there...
