Guys, I think I asked this b4 but after i had the stroke i just don't remember. Can I plug the aux out one one machine to the line in on another. I want to run my digital drums through an Alesis ALEX sound unit to add just a bit of reverb. Sorry if i have asked this b4. :o

should be able to.
I'm not familiar with the unit but, in general, an Aux out is usually a line signal.

On a mixing board "aux" generally means auxiliary line output and you can connect it to the line input of an effects unit. What other connections are there on your digital drums?

i need to run the aux out on the drums to the line in on the ALEX unit. Only other outputs on the drums are the cables out to each drum head, hi-hats etc. that run from the control modul to the heads. 8 total. but they are all aux. just wanted to be sure i didn't fry my sound unit. BTW, I am recording the analog with the exception of the drums as I don't have the space for an acoustic set. I am running the drum module aux out to the ALEX line in, and out from the alex to a Tascam Model 5 sound board. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks Lt. Bob. I thought the impedence was the same or could handle it, but wasn't sure.
