Line 6 Guitar Port

Greetings,

Do I need to upgrade to Windows 98SE from Windows 98 to use the Line 6 Guitar Port? The Line 6 website states it requires Windows 98SE. I really don't want to spend the extra cash to upgrade to 98SE. Anybody know if it's possible to get by with just 98?

you will have to go to 98se for that. the drivers will not work correctly.

what about the sound ?

I'm considering buying this tool is it worth it ?
they say the sound is decent but what about the feel compare to the real amp. I Write , sing and play blues.Does someone think I can get a real tone out of this box .Is it possible? i don't mind having to work at it as long as ....
