I have a riot making money with niche recording products. Mainly acoustic guitar, vocals, and midi string bass. The problem is I get bogged down by trying to play and engineer at the same time. I.e., the perfect take is often trashed by clipping when I wasn't looking.
I don't need blistering guitar solos, just a machine that can ride the gain a little. Any suggestions for me?
Is a multiband limiter more useful in my case than a compressor/limiter. And as always, money is an object.
