I've had my home studio setup for around a year, i only have the 2 channel tascam 1/44 though, this means 2 tracking is the way too go :P.
I have a Shure Sm57, 2, 2 Shure Sm58's (Use for live stuff) And A Behringer C2 Condenser, Obviously i will use the C2, And One Of The Dymanics, But with one condenser and one dymanic microphone, what would be the best micing technique for a 5 piece drum kit?
Cheers :)

I'd use one of the dynamics on bass drum and the C2 as an overhead.

I second that. But you might want to experiment and maybe use the term "overhead" loosely. It might sound better somewhere in front of the kit as opposed to over it. Move it around and find a sweet spot.

Thanx guys, i'm going to set my kit up Tomorrow, hasn't been played in a fair while, more of a guitarist then a drummer, anywho, ill mic it up with the C2 and a dymanic on the kick like said, I should probably use a Multiband Compressor or something to try and mix it a little?
