I have two DA7 mixing boards with 32 ADAT light pipe I/O's that I would like to run in and out of a DAW. Im considering a few different interface options for this and would like some opinions on them if anyone has experience doing this sort of thing.
The various options I'm considering are:
1.) Two RME Hammerfall 9636's or 9652's (or one of each)
2.) The Frontier Dakota/Montana Combo
3.) Some sort of MOTU setup (couple of 2408's with a PCI card?)
4.) M-Audio ProFire Lightbridge
5.) ????
I don't really need the A/D converters built into (some of) the interfaces as my DA7 boards already do this.
I'm primarily concerned about cost, latency, and stability
Any opinions/experiences are extremely appreciated.
