Voxvender: nice stuff, very polished. Good guitar sounds. Did you record them direct from the Pod or mic a cab/amp?

I have a v-amp and I could never get a good sound out of that thing. So I bought a Custom Vibrolux Re-issue and I'm loving it. Enjoying the hunt foir vintage effects too--anyone have a spear mu-tron flanger lying around? I still think modelers are a good tool, (most of us record at night, it seems) but real amps have that certain something....

Masa is just a copy of Marshal, which is just a copy of a Fender.

Unfortunately, not true.

Mesa Boogie came about when Randall Smith modded a Blackface Deluxe Reverb in San Francisco - Carlos Santana played it and said 'That little thing really boogies' and the rest is history.

. . . and my two cents:

Buy a Boogie, live happily ever after!

marshall and boogie are imho the only two originals as far as distorted tones are concerned.. My boogie in NO way reflects my marshall. All other brands seem to either go for the higher gain modded marshall sound or sweeter boogie sound..

Anyone erlse noticed that?
