Life Song - Friend of Sinners

Hey Everyone,
here is our latest effort. I have been diligently studying recording tactics from this site and listening to your feedback. I hope that its working. The song is called Life Song at http://fos.iuma.com. Please take a listen and let me know what you think. Appreciate it.

The music and lyrics sound fine (nice drum sound). Two things about the singing. First, the singer needs to be more dynamic. She seemed too mono-toned in her presentation. Second she got off key real bad during the song... Very flat!
 
Yeah I agree with you about the singing. My wife wasn't too sure about herself with this song as I had just written in. We'll work on it. Thanks.

Teddie... man do I feel stupid. I completely forgot about that posting a while back. I must of put it in and got so busy that I forgot about it. Sorry!
Just read through it and thanks for the thoughts. As for your question about the drums... I use Drag and Drop Drummer from Cakewalk and found a pretty cool site that gives out free sample loops at http://www.pocketfuel.com/ (this is where the techno beat came from). I also noticed the crackling and I think it came from the actual recording. (Too high)

Rob, thanks for the info man... So what ever happened to that other song?

I just recently went back to it the other day and was hoping to hear the vocals... no vox?

just haven't thought of any lyrics or melodies yet. I kinda get stuck on one song for a little bit and then move on. I'm glad you like it... I'll have to get busy and record some vocals.
