Sounding good Gunnar. Drums seem pretty clear, nice guitars. Vocals are sweet. I don't really dig the synth sound...sounds too MIDI. The part at the start where it's solo. That's the only thing I dislike. The vocals more than make up for it. They fucking kick.....really nice job there. Drums and bass interact well....don't seem to have any trouble with frequencies. Vocals make the tune...excellent job. :cool:

The new server is on a fiber connection now, so it should be smokin' fast! :D

Hey, have you heard the original? The keys are almost spot on to it, other than they do some weird stutter effect. It is a keyboard though - and it's the bands sound, so...........

Vox are a little back in the mix for this genre, perhaps; no need to hide this chick, she RAWKS.

If'n I had the ability, I might nudge the snare up a little too; the kick is on the money, but it is up over the snare's perceived level...

I still say the backup vox need harmony in the ooohahhh... :)

Not sure if maybe some verb or chorus might make the keys sound better to me...and it's probably just me....The original is pretty dry, but the rest of your mix is way cool, and the intro seems to be too seperate....But, that might be a correct interpretation.

(it's such a small nit, and the band is the one that knows more about the directin they would want...not me... ;) )

But the song rocks. Top notch performance, and you captured it well.

That keyboard/synth, especially at the beginning, remind me of Dire Straits! ;)

No nitpicks from me, good mix on my hi-fi cans.

Out and out awsome job :D Mix & performance are spot on.

Love the bottom end, very solid and firm but not over done, Just right.
Guits & vox sound fantastic. Backups are great too.

Damn good mix. Very solid and pleasing. Downloaded at ~800kbps :D

The only small things I'd change is maybe a bit more top end on the soloing guitar. And the Clavinova needs some tweaking at the beginning. Later in the song once it gets turned down it's pretty natural sounding. I think it needs a 6dB/oct roloff starting at maybe 4k - 4.5kHz. That'll help give it a more natural sound. Was it direct recorded? Keep in mind for a lot of people associate Clavinova sound on '70's recordings and most likely recorded through a dynamic on a 1x15 cab. Even though a Clavinova is a synth with more than 20khz performance in the harmonics these days.

Also at 3:45 it appears there is a missing Kick hit. :o

The only thing I would change(and this is form a production standpoint) is bringing up the drums so they can compliment the strong vocals better. She's dominating the mix a bit.

If I could change anything I would do something different to the intro. (But sounds great as is)
