first off, I hope that I have this in the right area for discussion.
I have the Lexicon Omega, and am using it to get my vocals into CubaseSX2. I am finding that the recording levels are very, very low when attempting this. Nothing seems to really help, no matter what I do. If I try to sing louder, the recordings sound distorted - even with just slightly elevated volume. The mic that I am using is a Studio Projects B1 large diaphram Condenser, and I didn't have this type of problem when it was used with my,formerly owned, AW16g. I made sure that the phantom power was on, and nothing seems to help matters.
Any suggestions?
