Good evening,
I have installed a Lexicon Lambda USB sound card on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1720 with Windows 7 Ultimate), the device works perfectly, only one thing that I'd like to ask:
Even though the volume control (in the system tray) shows the volume slider (the Lexicon is recognized and shown as "USB Speaker") I cannot increase/decrease or mute the sound from within Windows, the slider will go up/down and mute, but the sound will still come out unchanged.
Has anyone experienced this with this setup? is this by design as the Lexicon bypasses Windows' internal sound processing?
Do you know if there's a way to get around this? as I currently use Jriver Media Centre and use Gizmo on my Android phone as a remote control, I am now unable to decrease/increase volume, which is a bit inconvenient.
Thanks in advance,
Cecu
