I have an ADAT studio. I've seen this Lexicon core 2 sound card in many catalogs for less than $200.00. If anyone is using this card with their adats could you please advise me as to the following questions;
1. Will this replace an existing sound card?
2. When used with an optical cable from an ADAT does it follow the transport with a BRC? Does it stay in sync?
3. If I transfer 8 tracks of live drums from ADAT through the optical input of this card can I then clean noise and bleed from other drums and then transfer the cleaned tracks back to the adat and get it in sync with my other 2 ADATS?
4. If this sound card does not have the ability to stay in sync, is there a sound card that will perform this function that is in the same price range?
