Anyone who gigs regularly, what do you use in terms of cases?

Currently im using wafer thing gig bags for guitars, holdall for pedals+cables, and the cardboard box my head came in. I really want something more secure for my head, but everythings so expensive. Pedalboard might be good to reduce set up/down times as well.

Just interested in hearing what others use :)

In a perfect world I'd have an Anvil case for everything. Oh, well. :drunk:

My guitars are in the manufacturer-provided cases (Gibson, Fender), or for the cheapies that didn't come with cases I bought Roadrunner or Musician's Gear (??) hardshell cases.

My AC30 doesn't have a case - just a cover I made from a heavy poly tarp. (Lt Bob makes his own combo amp covers from cardboard and says they do a great job.)

My rack amp components are in decent, plywood based rack cases.

I have a large, heavy-nylon zip-up roll-around case for cords, stands, etc., and a small tool bag for strings, string-changing tools, and that kind of stuff.

I built my own pedalboard out of 3/8" plywood and 1 X 2 dimensioned lumber, and put good hardware on it.
