Here's my contribution to the Blues Rumble 2006.

I used my Fender Stratocaster on both guitar tracks, each track, the clean and distorted were pretty well laid down in one take each, so a few glitches here and there!..I should have shortened the tune for the sake of repetiveness but what the hell!!
I even threw in a track of backing chords!

Apl & Gorty Blues..!!

A bit of fun!!.. :) :)

Good job, GORTY!...
Great solos on classic "clean" (with amazing delays) and "dirty" strat sounds.

well, consider you win "red chiclets" by me, ok?
(´Cause I definitelly don´t understand this "You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Gorty again"). :D

Has that ACTUALLY ever happened though???????????????
Yes...one time, last month. We had 12 left, a friend came over, and poof....they was gone. And no drinking and driving here. Just had to suffer...with some Beam and Cola.... :D

Thanks Tony and Larry. I had fun playing to that, but man, putting together very many good notes was really just eluding me. And yeah, that was teh new amp. I'm very happy with it. I just stick a couple of mics in front of it, and it seem to get a good sound. Life is pretty simple that way... :D

Sorry it took so long...

I got rid of my Spider II 112 and got a Pod XT Live.

Anyway, there's two rhythm tracks with the Sorrento, and then the solos alternate between the faux strat and the Carvin with various amp models.

My playing's really bad, and my excuse is that I was focusing on the tones.

I don't know what's causing all that hum to show up around 2:10. Around 1:20 I'm hammering on the 24th fret.

Not bad at all, APL. Some nice sounds in there. Some of teh note choices were spot on also. Pretty cool man.

And thanks...this was very frustrating for me, as I strung a few good phrases together, but kept messing up. I should have just did the cut and paste, but couldn't do that. It was fun though...I think I learned a bit.

So thanks man.

okay I'm back to ruin this in new ways :D

It's Underwater Space Blues!
A flanged harmonica intro and then a phased Electric lead guitar that disappears 3/4ths through, why? Cause I broke my string   :D

I gotta check out everyone elses now!

Holy deep water harmonica playing.........very watery tone on the Strat there SnakeDude!

This is once again unmistakeable SnakeDude Rumble from the depths of the deepest blue waters where the blue ringed octopus and the shark dwell.

Very Kool stuff SnakeDude!
