Bubba, sounded good, was the signal direct or mic'd?

Ocnor, you sounded nice and bluesy to me, nice lines happening there

Scrubs, you have a nice selection of licks & riffs goin' there

Catching up here . . . I can't hear everybody's because somehow the Soundclick direct links won't work for me  :o :(

scrubs: Hey, you got start somewhere . . . you know 3 more licks than I do!

ocnor: Man, that tone on the double stops is downright dirty. If you got the single note leads to sound like that, it would be killer.

jpw . . . mmm, dig that organ. Tighten up on that organ! Tighten it up now! (sorry, they keep playing that song on the local oldies station :o )

Not bad, dude. That part starting about 0:42 is pretty killer. You've officially widened the blues lexicon. :)
Thanks man...After about 100 takes, you'd think I would have more..but man, I'm tired of playing this now.. :D

just heard bigbubba's . . . I love the bold major key theme that is revisited in the minor later. Classic and well-executed. Also the best attempt to play a melody . . . I tried to use a theme, but I forgot what it was :o

OK, where are the shredders hiding  Purge? Anybody?

DI'd thru Digitech rp200. :)

All - Thanks all for listening and the nice comments. If I individually thank each poster, it would take up space and be annoying. So I'll thank all listeners in one post. :)

The intro was practiced. The rest was a second take improvised and free style playing, with many mistakes. :)

Others playing - Everyone has offered a new perspective. And it's cool to see each interpretation. Everyone has done a great job. Dogman, my first 50 takes really pissed me off. I was close to a 100 takes before I sort or developed a feel for the mood I wanted to invoke. Didn't work a 100% but it was good enough to not embarrass me when I post it online for a bunch of people to listen. :)

Sorry, don't mean to be a drama queen. I just been wanting to do a change of careers lately and wouldn't mind doing something music related by the way of a profession. Mixing, music editing, or even playing (session or band). So I kind of try to gear myself for that. :)

Hey scrubs,

Nice clean tone.. :) ..It's Sunday morning here, perfect for a little scrubs rumbling blues!

Thanks. For those who might care, here's the chain:

Yamaha tele, neck p/u (SD vintage tele), boss blues driver (tone & gain about 1/4), epiphone valve junior head into crate 12" speaker, mxl 990 about 10" out, GT Brick pre, Delta 66, into Cubase, some Kjaerhus Classic verb on Club setting and a little Classic delay. W1 Limiter on the master bus.

Kudos to everyone for your unique versions of this rumble. Here is my recording chain for those of you who care: Fender HM Strat, neck pickup[hot rails],into a V-Amp Pro,and direct into an Audiophile 2496. My recording program is Audition 1.5. Like Scrubs,I also used the Kjaerhus Classic Reverb to add a little ambiance. Since my guitar is set up for E flat tuning,I had to play in the key of F which is for me tougher than playing in E [hence the stumbles].

Nice playing...and great tone. If I played like that drunk...I'd never be sober.... :D
