Dood. I messed with a PG58 that I used for talkback. It even sounded like it was a worthy mic. Started to record tracks of just my voice to give an example, but realized it would not give a realistic representation. I can only say that things have just changed for me in a huge way. Now I need 8 more X73's! lol!

I have used one before, but not in my own studio with others to compare to. Anyone who says a preamp will not make an improvement, is either tone deaf, stupid, or has not spent enough money on one worthy of comparison. I am sold. Dave has shown me the way!

That would be a seriously long night with the locker I hear you have man. I spent 5 hours tonight, and just want to redo everything I ever recorded. I'll sleep on it. Just the manual, not the preamp.
