Yeah, it feels detached from the song a bit. Parts of it work well, others don't. I will take another stab at it, but after the weekend probably. I know I can come up with something that is more of a statement!
 
Alright, I think this is more on track. Still a bit sloppy, and I haven't really "fixed" the tone, but I think this is a better solo.

 
I agree. It's pretty damn good, thanks man. I like the tone too. Can I get that wav now? :D
 
I will save that take, but I think I can clean it up a bit. Patience!
 
Okay, I think this is as good as it is gonna get for this one, short of me playing my ass off for the next 6 months to get my chops a little more on top.

It's cool you doing this stuff for the members here. Listened to most of the posted pieces, all good stuff. I find it fun to put solos to others work sometimes too. More acoustic stuff than this though. Keep up the good work. :cool:
