Hi all,

I am posting some songs from my latest album project for my church.

This is praise song that I've written. (Rock style)

Let me know what you think.

I am pretty please with the results, but still feel there's a gap to achive that pro/commercial result.

Let me know what to improve.

Nice tune. Vox a little pitchy in spots...did you double track them in the chorus? If you did, you might bring up the double a bit to kinda' mask the pitchiness...

The biggest problem to my ears is the guitar tone...it's too overdriven, so it comes across as thin instead of meaty. Seems like with recording, less distortion is more if you want BIG guitars.

Again, nice tune. You nailed the genre.

Thanks Chris... yeah the guitar sounds bother me too... I have yet to achieve a good meaty tone with my setup...

I agree that in recording, less distortion will sound better... I had tried to be conservative in that area... guess I need to be even more conservative...

Your strength seems to be in writing...keep doing that. The recording stuff just takes practice. I'm still practicing, lol.
