Hello , I wanted to attempt this song after David Crosby passed away , but just now got it done. Still a work in progress so any suggestions for improvement are welcome.
Thanks for the listen and any comments or crits. mark

Never heard this one before. Thanks for introducing it. I listened to the original. I wanted it to stay in that gentle latin groove they started up at the beginning, but they got sort of intense with it by the end. You don't do that, you maintain the groove throughout - sort of nudged toward Wooden Ships in terms of feel. I really like it.

You had me vibin with this one. I’ve never heard the original but I’m about to check it out!

Thanks guys for the listen and comments.
@TalismanRich , I knew you were a CSN fan. Hope I didn'y mangle it too badly.
@Manslick , I aprreciate the reply. I'm sure I'll be making some adjustments later.
@dobro , Thanks , I've always liked this song , especially the more laid back versions . I've heard quite a few with just a couple of acoustics and all the vocal harmony weaving. Didn't think I could pull one off like that.
@Db> Music , Thanks .. I hope I still did this song a little justice after you hear the originals. I used to play in acoustic harmony bands doing CSN , America , Poco and stuff like that. I was in my 20's then and could actually sing. I'm pushing 71 now and going to try and do more vocal stuff before I can no longer sing at all. Thanks .. mark

The lead guitar sounds great. Very CSN-y. In fact all the guitar licks sound great. Acoustic guitars sound nice too.

The low end of the mix is pretty rumbly. Mostly in the bass. Kick sounds OK.

Vocals are just a bit out front. I might move them back in the mix just a bit.

Little pop at :03.

Muted Vocal style - have to listen to it a few more times before I critique it (If I do).

Thanks @Serendipity Records , @TripleM , and @Papanate for the listen and further comments. The link now reflects a final mix/master.
I sent the instrument mix and a seperate soloed vocals track to Gary Brun , a friend and fellow Cakewalker in Norway. He made several EQ and balance changes and did the final master. I'm very happy with it. I appreciate all the listens and comments. Thanks .. mark

Great cover!

Love the vocal production, love the vocal treatment in the mix.

Really, really good all round.

p.s. The master is a bit noisy in places (poppy/crackly), low level-ish but it's in there.
