Hi Dredakyst,

Here are a few thoughts:

The mix sounds left heavy to me. Maybe try bringing some of the embellishments into the right channel to balance it better.

The drum sounds are strange to me, and the kick is too loud during the chorus.

The bass sound is not very inspiring, and the bass performance seems very flat and disinterested. I know you're not going for Geezer Butler or Flea style on this track, but the bass seems almost programmed.

Singing is great, and sits pretty well for the most part. It will stand out more when you sort some of the other issues out.

Great singer. The vocals sound good, could maybe be a little brighter.

Drums are kindof throwing me off. I'm not sure why, but it sounds like they don't fit.

Again, I love the vocals.

I heart Flea... but you are correct... the bass is programmed... and i'm guessing that is cause the lack of life.

The drum sounds are strange to me...Drums are kindof throwing me off.

I betting for this type of song programmed drums and bass sucks the life out of it....
