That's correct. Monkey is £500 and a score is £20. No slang I know of for £100. I was hoping somebody from the States would ask why anybody would want to put a mic under a pony :)
 
Do we? I thought of that, but I wasn't sure; and I had no idea where to check up on it. They're all betting terms, aren't they?
 
The "We" was more referring to me and my mates, rather than people in general - not really sure what the bookies use for a hundred though.

You're absolutely right. We're watching the decline of the American Empire right now, as it realises it has less reach than it thought - moving 4000 troops out of South Korea to try and fix the problem it made in Iraq.

Britain doesn't build anything any more ... except for a good line in poodles.
