The not fountain head
Okay....

I now have dual lcds... I would like to know how far beyond the "triangle" should the screens be? I know they should be behind the line that connects the two speakers... but .. just how far?

Thanks

Sorry I don't have an answer. I am also interested in this as well. Best sound. Best sound. I think mine are lined up or slightly behind them. (Room is limited for me.)

Yup.. I know people are looking at this thread and shaking their heads.. "It's not that important"... To those people: okay.. but if we learn something in this thread.. Just remember that you were wrong..(and that you'll probably apply the knowledge).... :D

Well it makes sense. But I think if our monitors were too far in front of the speaker monitors it would just cause earlier reflections and we wouldn't be getting "as much" of the sound as we could. I don't think it would throw anything off. Someone correct me if I'm wrong cause I'm no expert. Anyhow I have 2 19inch CRT monitors and they are kinda big. So its not easy for me to put them behind the speaker monitors...

I'd just keep your LCDs behind the speakers personally. Because the initial sound can only come out of the speaker and spread as far as the rim of the box is. (makes sense to me). And/or port holes of course.

I dunno. Anyone got some more info. I think we're interested just for knowledges sake.

My monitor is at the line. Just as long as it's not in front of the line, you wont get any sound blocked.
