LCD monitor question

I'm looking into having a computer built and I definitely want a LCD monitor.The best quote I've gotten comes with a 17" monitor by a company called ADI.The model number is A701.Here's the limk for the sight...

I am a complete computer dumbass,this is why I'm having it built instead of doing it myself.My question is....

Is this monitor okay?Is it crap?

You could do better as far as the contrast ratio goes. It is only 400:1 - I've seen ones for sale at BestBuy with 500:1 contrast ratio.

The response time on that particular model is the slowest on the list (25msec). That is definetly not good. It will cause alot more ghosting on the screen.

If your gonna go with an LCD, look to spend anywhere from $500-$1000 for a good one.
