I bought a layla 20bit about a year ago and it didnt come with a cord so i bought a cord that looked like it fit () at fry's.. After it blowing 2 power supplies in my computer i found a friend with a credit card and orded one from echo. Well, the cord has decided to go bad and i dont want to order one from echo, i do not have the money. I called echo tech support and they said I could get "probably" get away with buying a IEEE 1284 printer cable and use that. IM really skeptical about buying this cord and hooking it into my computer and blowing another power supply, I might just then have to drive to california and take care of this "Dave" person. I want other advice in buying this cord. anybody know if this ieee 1284 is the right cord? thanks.
