Hi everyone, is it possible to have more than one sample for the same note/sound. I would like to do some kick layering and it does not sound very natural with one sample covering the entire dynamic range. I know this is possible in other programs but i would like to stick to logic, are there any free eternal plugins i can use to do this?

Im gonna have to try that but im not sure if thats exactly what im looking for, what im trying to say is it would be cool if i could sample say a bass drum multiple times with different dynamics and then a midi note with a velocity of 80 or so would trigger a different hit then one at 127

Oh, yes you can do that by stacking the samples in ESX24 and then clicking the "Show Velocity" button in the ESX24 editor. This will bring up a grid where you can set the velocity for each different sample to be triggered at.
