This is a song I have been working on. I am happy with the verses and the choruses... but I have been struggling to find a bridge. Does this bridge work for you? Does it stray too far from the rest of the song?
This is really straight forward pop...it isn't really samba or bossa nova...just kind of borrows some of the feel. These are scratch vocals at this point and a canned midi drum track. The verses and bridge are in that "Gypsy" scale...a minor scale where the 7th is a half step below the root instead of the dominant 7th. Tom Waits among others uses this from time to time.
