Yes, I'm part of the HoneyPot Crew here in town and we've had the weekly 'Thirsty Thursday' for the past few years, I've also played at numerous clubs/bars around the area ie.

Too bad that DJing isnt really as good or as respectable as playing a real instrument! And it also sucks that the only people who even consider djing to be anything other than just a time consuming way to act like a wigger are all those disposable dance/club kids and other djs. Ha Ha just kidding... i would never insult DJs and i love everyone.
