latency??

i was just wondering would i get latency from using the alesis ai3 with hardware efx with a 002r when mixing down?

I'd highly doubt it... latency issues are typically from inside the box... cpu load... processing performance, etc.

Hardware processors have virtually no latency, therefore no delay in your signal chain.

Since the AI3 is primarily an input device, I doubt you will even be using it during mixdown, unless you are sending the output back through it again.

He'll be using the convertors for an effects loop to a hardware device outside of his DAW...
