I record in cubase, and yet, sometimes the parts are a little earlier then eachother or later then eachother. I try to move them and I turn snap off, and I can't make it precise enough. Any advice for my stupid self?

if you have ASIO drivers use them....also try fooling with buffer settings....

yes, definitely use ASIO if you can......however, i'm not sure that this is a latency issue, though maybe it is...and it could very well be a driver issue....i take it you are recording midi tracks? what are you using for your sound source? soft synths?

audio tracks.

is there a way cubase can help me out?

I don't know what sound card your using. When Cubase records audio, it normally accounts for the latency. Perhaps the driver is not reporting the latency correctly to Cubase. If you're already using the ASIO driver, try using the MME driver and see if that helps.
