Latency HeLp!!

How would i adjust the buffer size? up or down and what numbers? Or how can i change the sample rate?

when i record to the metronome my vocals are off beat although they're on in the headphones. I got a gig of ram and had my computer rebuilt thinking that would help, it hasn't. Im hoping someone knows exactly what has to be done to fix this problem.

Im using cool edit pro with an alesis sound card io2 with usb connection

Most via likely in your sound card's control panel...depending on your sequencer, you might be able to access it from the sequencer itself.

i had the same issue in the past. i upgraded to AA 3.0 and got a PreSonus fp10 and everything was fixed. im not sure what fixed it. it might have been the upgrade, or the new interface. or both. im not sure, but i hope this helps
