latency free monitoring

Hi folks,

I currently just use a toneport ux2 and have latency free monitoring. I would like to upgrade interfaces so i can record a full band, so i was thinking about either a firepod or tascam 1884.

Do these interfaces offer latency free monitoring or is that something that's just found on the toneport.

Thanks for any insight.
 
Well I am not sure. I can set my FireBOX to 6ms without a problem. I have a strong PC. 6ms is no latency in my book.
