latency eh? need help!!!
I just installed a Lambda Lexicon audio interface on my computer but it does not seem to be compatible with my D-Link USB 2.0 PC card for my laptop. It detects it and all, but the sound itself skips and pops and becomes pure static every few seconds. After that happened, I plugged it into the USB 1 port installed on my laptop and lo and behold it was gone. I tried running the supplied Cubase software and that seems to work like a charm too. Would I be fine just using the USB 1 input or will I experience problems later? I tried playing along with a recorded track on Cubase and no latency issues were apparent at all. Let me know, thanks!!
