Very 60s. Very jangly.
Could to my ears use a bit more bottom end and maybe dial back some of the vocal processing?
Seems like everything is sitting in that mid / high mid spectrum.

But, it’s still cool.

My impression as well. Turn up the drums 1 dB and the bass 3 dB and listen to it for a day or two. Final decision on Sunday.

Love the vibe. Love the bass part.

Not sure exactly what you're doing with the vocal. But it's kind of smeared and taking up a lot of space. It's lacking clarity. If it's doubled, I'd pull the doubled track down a bunch. The delay/reverb on them is pretty thick.

I also think the low end is just a bit light (which is pretty rare for me).

The snare is a little wimpy. The cymbals are getting lost behind the guitars. The kick is getting a bit lost behind the bass guitar.

The guitars, somewhat like the vocal, are smeared and indistinct.

Little click on the right at :08.

It might be good, I don't know, it's so freaking loud I can't hear it.

You're twice as loud as 'Won't Get Fooled Again' by The Who. Numerically, not technically twice as loud in case someone comes in with the log scale.

Here is a link to check your loudness.

ps. with the volume turned down a lot, I think it is really quite good, and you captured the 60's vibe very well.

Thekesslerboy, just want to apologize for my post above. I sound like I'm the loudness police or something. Make it as loud as you like. Rock on!

OK, thanks all. Some very practical suggestions there. Had my first play with Reaper and not sure really. Could only adjust volumes, and panning, but didn't delve into eq or effects. Also couldn't see how to master and boost, so just saved a live on the fly mix. Lowered the volume, raised the drums and bass in the mix. Sounds a bit muddy to me overall but that could be because it's lacking eq and mastering flourishes. Added the second mix to the original post, below the first one.
