Just PM me your mailing address and it's yours. The people on HR and RP are the reason I even HAVE this CD to sell to people at shows. Anybody who has taken the time to listen to another person's tunes on the net and give feedback deserves AT LEAST a free CD of the crap if they actually want it, lol.

Jamal's deal was weird, by the way. He actually took that tune that I posted to an engineer in his hometown to ask if he could have it professionally mixed, and the guy listened and basically said that he wouldn't remix it, but he would give Jamal a recording contract, lol. Small indie label, but still bigger than any record deal I'll ever get. :D

Too much air on the vox.

Sound like you took the eq and put a spike at 12k to add air.

Whatever you did it was too much IMO.

also the vox wewre too up front, it felt like you were singing right in my face.
As opposed to singing with the arrangement.

As for the arrangement..

Sweet!, nice work my man..

Merry christmas

Yeah...I know; I hate the vocal sound on this. The vocal was recorded a long time ago when I thought that massive 12:1 compression on a vocal sounded good, lol. I tried to resing this several times recently, and the general feedback I got was that I suck so bad now that the sonic suckiness is outweighed by the performance suckiness of my new takes, lol.

Thanks a ton for listening and commenting.

Pretty good tone...fat, clear - what else is there, eh?
Chris,
For me, nothing! I am primarily a bass player. My guitar work is aweful, but it's sufficient. I play so that the bass is heard as well as felt. I play an ESP B-205, 5-string. I DI'd it into my MR-8. I have a bass processor, but I find I get a better tone without coloring it. The ESP tone on a Gallien Krueger is enough to make you wet your pants! Thanks for the listen. The guy I recorded this for loved the bass too. I guess I should either get better with the guitar or find someone who is....
Have a good one, Chris!

Chris, Thats awesome. I promise when(not if) I get my record deal you will have the first dibs @ the attorney stuff. Thats thinking positivly..huh?

I would love a CD. That would be great. Ill send you the address. Actually, its pretty simple..... PO Box: The only white guy in the ass crack of the U.S. not really. Ill pm ya. Thanks Chris. Let me know when I can pay you back. I owe ya one...or two

hahaha, I`d send a ham to you for Christmas but it would pale in your presence... I hope Jamie reflects a generous portion of this Harris sense of humor.

I dig it, All of it, although Juliet is one of the most soul tweaking tunes i`ve ever heard you do. Ya know? :)
