Thanks man, cool that you like it, I think it is our biggest "hit" so far.
It usually goes well on audiences :)

Nakatira....

Man... I'm so digging your music! i think I was confused at first; this is YOUR band, am I right?

I thought you just engineered the sessions, but you IN the frikkin band right?

Wow dude... I love this!!! You guys could probably be big here in the states! A lot of the young kids are totally getting into the classic rock/metal thing. I see kids all the time wearing Iron Maiden, Sabbath, Doors, Beatles, Zeppelin, Kiss t-shirts!

I love this! It's so retro but has a freshness to it! Man... I'm taken back to the 70's big time! I bet my (other band's) bass player Scott Reeder would love this stuff!

Holy Shit!!!

Thanks man I did "engieneer" the recording session, wich most of the time include engineering myself alone.
I did the vox and all guitars exept one song, I also mad all of the songs.
These were some of first songs Ì made made.

thanks man, I hope people like this music, it would be on the outer limits of my dreams to do some gigging in the U.S.

I have loads of stuff I want to put out there, I`m currently making a new band but were lacking a drummer at the moment.

but once the band is up and going I hope there is come some high quality tracks from the Naka camp.

I need loads of more training before reaching a respecatable product, but I`m lucky to have the sounds that I like allready created so, its just a "matter of time" : :)

No but really thanks phil, I really aprecitate your feedback man, you da man :)

thanks for the replies so far....

I know very little about mastering, anyone have a few pointers?

I guess I have to do that :o

I cant afford to send it to some high tech, paid guys, wish I could but naka is not rich :D

No...You da man!!!

Like the philth said, this is a time warp wild ride. I love them all. Go Drummer is my favorite, my ex-girlfriedn digs "The Sign " the most. They're all top freaking notch.

Thanks man, very cool.
and by the way I`m starting to like your`e ex, she has good taste :D .

so its good enough for printing then, or burning, as I will do, as I wouldnt be making many of them EP`s is a GO then? :)

cool man, I will do that, so the verb added was enough then? :)

I even liked it dry for the sound you were going for, so yeah, I think the reverb you have is fine.

cool man, printing will begin once the Nak is sober :)

Bounce your tracks down to a 2-track master and EQ and Compress that mix as a whole.

Be careful; make sure your rough-mix is exactly what you're hearing in your head! Burn a CD (if you have that option) of your tracks and listen to them in your car. Your mom's car. The kitchen boom-box. Your iPod. Your livingroom stereo! All will sound different and all will give you different interpretations of frequencies and levels!

Take notes and go back to fixing whatever you may think needs to be louder/quieter, hi-cut/lo-cut etc...

Mastering is primarily an overall mix of your final product (I think?) and the way we did it was with the Cambridge EQ and Fairchild Compressor by UAD. That plugin is awesome! We said *FUCK taking it to a pro* where we knew they'd rape us for money we don't have; so we got the UAD plugins and did it ourselves.

Still can't figure out we our main master recording has such a low volume!?

But anyway, just EQ and Compress the overall mix the best you can and you should be well off!

Good luck Nakatira!

Naka, sweet tunes, all of them. Can't say as I find anything to really say, just cool music. I really like this stuff. I'm a huge Sabbath fan, so anything similar, I really dig. No help from me, just a Thanks for putting these babies up...

Thanks Dogman :) , thats all the help I need, if you guys think it sounds good and I do, then I`m ready to burn those cd`s :)

Alright, I have your music absolutely cranked up over here and this is great fun. I have a suggestion though... get rich, live out your dream and tour the US, and visit arizona!!!!!!! Lead the classic rock comeback!! I'll be there! This stuff must seriously kick live, it kicks enough on near max on my system at home! Shit, even the llama likes it (he probably actually hears it at this volume :p )

As far as the mix goes I think you can officially call yourself a mastering engineer now, very fine job :) Don't hear anything wrong.

This is the first time I've heard "In the Night", I even hear a little Floyd in there with the vocals and slower part, very cool. That solo is epic too!

I'm going to be redundant in this thread and say... You rock Nak! :)

Thanks man, glad you like it...
will atempt to do some low level mastering or something, and then those cd`s will be burnt.

Glad you like In the night, that was the first track we made with that band.
The guitar solo was played by the other Guitar player in the band, he`s also doing the backing guitar on this track.

thanks to all you guys for giving me such nice feedback :)
