Actually, the room started life as a bedroom with a closet on the big back end and wallboard on the wall. The pictures show the room with the closet removed, and the layer of plywood over the existing wallboard. More to come soon!

Wish I could have gotten 13 ft in height in my place...! On the other hand, the sound here is killer so I'm far from disappointed!!! ;)

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!

Yah, the ceiling is one of the best things about the room - naturally sloping up away from the mix position, lets me treat the ceiling pretty well.

I've got some crazy ideas about the Helmholtz resonators that I'll be building -- I think I can make some units that will be especially smooth across the entire range by splaying the slots like John did for Left Bank, but done in a way that lets me cut all the pieces in a big batch so its not prohibitively time consuming to build.
