Laptop websites?

Hi everyone, im new here.

I am looking for a laptop for a mobile recording/production solution. I want to try and stay away from the shelf branded laptops, such as Dell, HP, and Toshiba, etc. due to the lack of customization options.
I am aware of ADK systems, but I believe they are a bit high priced for what you get, compared to sites like Ibuypower.com. Does anyone know of any websites? Clevo designed preferred, but im open to suggestions as well.

This is what I have now:

Asus Laptop
Windows XP 32 Bit
T8300 Core 2 Duo 2.4 ghz
512 MB Geforce 9500m GS
4 Gigs of ram
250 HD
Cubase 5
Motu Ultralite Mk3
Blue Baby Bottle
KRK RP 5 Studio Monitors

What I want to achieve, is to be able to record and mix on the same machine, without system stuttering above 24 tracks.
 
You're still saying you want something customized for audio but at basement prices.

'Ya can't have it both ways.

You either have to pay for experience and customized setup or take your chances.

(I know no one wants to hear it but that's life...)
 
what's wrong with the laptop you have now? should be plenty powerful
 
Tim - I agree, and thank you, I needed to hear that. I decided to purchase from a known respectable source, ADK.

Tony - Well with Cubase 5, it seems to stutter and have stability issues with 24+ audio tracks with fx chains of around 3-4 on each track. Consisting eq, compressor, reverb, and delay. I do use fx bus, and I can't seem to use the Reverence I believe it's called without having latency issues. So I decided to get a stronger processor, 8 gigs of higher grade ram, and a solid state hard drive with 285/275 read and write speeds, and a Esata audio data drive. The laptop I bought came with a onboard esata port. Im pretty excited. Only thing is, it doesn't have the firewire port, so I got a express card slot Firewire add-on with it. TI Firewire.

Greg - Thank you for the suggestions. I wish it would've been sooner, but I've already purchased my system.
