I'm looking for a laptop around 300$ to use in my home studio plus also video editing.. I need a big hard drive to store wav. Files and hd video sizes get enormous.. I need a good processor for running the dozens of effects on tracks and mixing in cubase.. I have a dual core now but I have latency problems and pops and skips in recording processes from the computer.. I'm looking for a laptop "pc preferable Mac's too expensive" that won't have space issues and lattency problems or crash on me cause I'm doing too much.. Any information would be helpful thank you..

$300 really isn't going to cut it sorry at least not for a laptop. If your looking at full blown audio and video editing your going to need quite a powerful machine, if you look around you might be able to find a powerful second hand desktop. But if your going with a laptop I would suggest a Macbook Pro. I realize that is probably out of your budget, but it is defiantly the tool for the job. I've been using laptops for my video editing and recording studio for years, I've tried Alienware, top of the line Toshiba laptops, and have never been happy.

Well thats my 2c
