I heart guitars!
Time to ask my mates on the BBS another question...
I'm being given a G3 Mac Laptop this weekend by a friend who's just got an iMac, and one of my other friends has a Pro Tools CDROM (I'm assuming it's ProTools Free), which I can have.
I've got all the multitracking, fx, sequencing and sound production bits & bobs I need, so I was thinking about running the Pro Tools on the laptop as a stereo editor (very handy for the Brass Band recording I've got on in September. I had to cut'n'paste the last one on my vs1680 - and when you're dealing with 40 people playing 12-minute pieces that's a LOT of head-scratching).
I've been looking at the Digigram Pocket VX as a soundcard, and was wonering if anyone had any suggestions or opinions. I know I can trust you lot to not sell me a bummer...
Cheers,
Phil
